Sharing a document is simple:
- Go to the Documents tab.
- Select the person icon next to the file.
- Click “Share via Caseway.”
To verify the recipient, CARET Legal uses two-step authentication. Clients receive a text with a verification code and an email prompt to create a secure login. Anytime you share a new document, they’ll be notified and can access it directly through the portal. Documents can be unshared at any time, and clients can also upload files back to your team.
You can also share invoices in just a few clicks. Within the Accounting feature, select the invoice and use the “Share via Caseway” option on the right-hand side.
